Because of the generosity of our community, breast cancer survivors attend all our programs – including the New ME Retreat – completely free of charge.
We’re raising $30,000 to sustain a series of healing retreats, workshops and portrait sessions that help breast cancer survivors regain confidence, connect with others who understand, and find tools to navigate life after cancer.
Your support keeps these experiences alive for women who need them most.
Together, we create a sacred space where survivors feel seen, supported, and renewed.
A breast cancer diagnosis marks a profound transformation — physically, emotionally, and spiritually. While treatment focuses on eradicating disease, the aftermath often brings silence. Survivors frequently feel:

after medical support ends

from their bodies and femininity

in their emotional recovery journey
Hair, breasts, fertility — the body feels altered and unfamiliar. The mirror becomes a place of grief. Though medically “healed,” many women remain without closure, longing to reconnect with the self they’ve become.
Through self-portraiture, mindfulness, beauty ritual, and sound, participants will leave with a renewed sense of identity, wholeness, and community.
Applications close: November 1st
Acceptance emails will be sent out by November 5th
